The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 182
continues.

SUMMARY...Additional watches are not currently anticipated.
Remaining valid portion of Severe Thunderstorm Watch 182 could be
cancelled prior to the previously scheduled 5 AM CDT expiration.

DISCUSSION...Short-lived area of 4+ mb 2 hour surface pressure rises
associated with apparent cold pool strengthening was noted with
convection progressing into the Hayward WI area within the past hour
or so. And peak wind gusts to 35 kts were measured at the Hayward
ASOS at 0651Z. However, this activity is generally advancing into
an environment still recovering from impacts of prior convective
outflow, across much of northern/eastern Wisconsin, with an
increasingly stable environment farther to the northeast and east.
Given weakening trends to ongoing convection, in general, and little
evident to suggest appreciable potential for substantive
re-intensification, the risk for severe weather seems in the process
of becoming increasingly negligible.
