Areas affected...the western half of North Dakota

    Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 170...

    Valid 102315Z - 110115Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 170
    continues.

SUMMARY...Severe risk continues over western North Dakota across WW
    170.

DISCUSSION...Latest visible satellite and radar loops show storms
developing along the north-south cold front crossing western North
Dakota at this time. Ahead of the front, an axis of moderate
instability is in place, which should support continued storm development/growth.

With storms likely to become linear with time, given linear forcing
and largely meridional flow, a few stronger/damaging gusts along
with hail will remain the primary severe risks across this region.
