    Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 169...

    The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 169
    continues.

    SUMMARY...An isolated severe threat may persist across and just
    south of WW 169 the next couple of hours, but overall threat is
    diminishing. A downstream watch is not expected at this time.

    DISCUSSION...Bow echo tracking south/southeast into southern IN has
    been weakening over the last hour or so. The downstream airmass has
    been impacted by earlier day convection. As a result, instability
    wanes and inhibition increases with southward extent into northern
    KY. As such, gradual weakening should continue. A few stronger
    storms may persist on the southwestern periphery of the watch area
    along the axis of greater instability. But, these storms also will
    move toward the poorer quality airmass. Given overall trends and
    expected diminishing threat, a downstream watch is not anticipated
    at this time.
