    Concerning...Tornado Watch 183...

    The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 183 continues.

    SUMMARY...Severe weather risk continues -- mainly in the form of
    locally damaging winds and hail. An isolated tornado remains
    possible.

    DISCUSSION...Latest radar mosaic loop shows a broken, west-southwest
    to east-northeast band of storms moving east across the watch area,
    with the strongest convection now crossing north-central Wisconsin
    and moving into western parts of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
    (where WW 185 is in effect).

    The airmass across the region remains moist/moderately unstable,
    with 1500 to 2000 J/kg mixed-layer CAPE indicated in the latest
    objective analysis. With moderate/weakly veering flow with height,
    organized storms -- including locally intense updrafts and some
    bowing structures -- will persist as storms continue shifting
    eastward. Locally damaging wind gusts remain the primary threat,
    with a few measured severe gusts in excess of 50 kt received over
    the past 1-2 hours (including a recent 51 kt gust at RCX in
    north-central Wisconsin).
