    Probability of Watch Issuance...40 percent

    SUMMARY...An isolated risk for 40-55 mph gusts capable of pockets of
    wind damage probably exists near and east of the I-75 corridor in
    southeast KY near the TN/KY border and for portions of eastern TN.
    A severe thunderstorm watch is being considered.

    DISCUSSION...Radar mosaic shows a mature squall line over KY with
    the most intense portion of the convective line over central KY. A considerable amount of pre-squall line convection has limited
    destabilization over eastern KY where temperatures are steady in the
    lower 70s degrees F. Farther south near the TN/KY border towards
    the Cumberland Gap, a west-east broken cluster of thunderstorms has
    served as a northern delimiter for where the airmass is moderately
    unstable. South of this convection, temperatures are in the
    middle-upper 80s with lower 70s dewpoints. As the larger-scale
    convective complex moves east across northern portions of TN and KY,
    it appears a relatively narrow corridor of greater potential for
    strong gusts (40-55 mph) may exist near the TN/KY border into
    eastern portions of TN.
