    The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 140, 141
    continues.

    SUMMARY...An isolated severe wind and hail threat should continue in
    the short term across WW 140 and WW 141. Additional watch issuance
    in eastern MT and western ND is unlikely tonight.

    DISCUSSION...The environment remains weakly unstable this evening
    across southern/eastern MT into southwestern ND along/south of a
    cold front. Strong mid-level southwesterly flow remains in place
    over this region, with effective bulk shear values of 40-50+ kt
    common. Any thunderstorms that persist in this environment may
    continue to pose an isolated severe wind/hail threat in the short
    term. But, continued diurnal cooling of the boundary layer should
    result in a gradual lessening of instability and a related decrease
    in the overall severe threat through the remainder of the evening.
    Therefore, additional watch issuance appears unlikely tonight across
    eastern MT/western ND.
