    Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 233...

    The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 233
    continues.

    SUMMARY...The severe weather threat continues through the afternoon
    and into the early evening. Damaging winds may become the greater
    threat in the next hour or two.

    DISCUSSION...Several supercell thunderstorms have formed in northern
    Minnesota this afternoon and have produced mostly large hail. Expect
    these storms to become more of a wind threat in the next few hours
    as the storms congeal further and develop a cold pool. This is
    supported by the last several runs of the HRRR which show a forward
    propagating linear MCS moving along the instability gradient into
    northwest Wisconsin this evening. If an MCS does develop, 0 to 3 km
    shear around 30 knots via the DLH VWP and continued downstream
    destabilization will support MCS maintenance well into the evening.
