Hello!

Since this echo seems to fall upon many eyes, I thought it would be the perfect place to ask.. Does anyone here use blue-blocker glasses for
screen viewing? To be on topic.. has anyone TESTed them? <g>

I use BluBlocker branded sunglasses for daytime driving. They really
improve the presence of red which helps me notice the all important stop lights. They really do block out the blue. Generally, there is also less glare and reflections from the windshield. They make for comfortable
driving.

The clear blue blocker glasses intrigue me. The case seems to be strong
in that they reduce eye strain and sore eyes from prolonged staring at computer screens.

Any TESTimonials?

I have never tried, maybe I should. I have regular glasses to but I don't
use those either.. :)

Since I've started wearing glasses that filter out the blue wavelengths, I'm able to get to sleep quicker in the evenings. I typically only wear them for a few hours in the evening if I'm still staring into a screen.

I received my pair today (only a 2-day turn around from amazon. sick!)

After reading some reviews, the Firmoo brand seemed to be a good choice.
I wanted practically clear ones (typical anti-blue lens would have an more obvious yellow tint) and anti-glare and anti-UV coated.

We'll see if my sleep and dry eyes will improve from working at a computer screen during the day and in the after-hours.

I started wearing mine after receiving them today. We slipped back to
standard time in my area just a couple days ago. At the time of this
writing the *new* time is only 10:30pm here and I've been fighting to stay awake. I would normally still be not-sleepy well past 11:30 to 12:30, and lately close to 2am.

So, these things are practically forcing me to get to sleep earlier - even though I *want* to tap away at the computer. LOL

It seems that the science behind the problem with blue-violet wavelengths between 380nm and 450nm keeping us awake is working - on me.

Hmmmm.
