i use a utility called xchange to do a mass replacement of the colors

xchange /i text.dat "@g" "@n@r"

change @ symbol to smiley of course.
or the slash \1

looks like he let his domain expire.

Maybe use search and replace? Some common colors are configured in ctrl/attr.cfg, perhaps start there.
