Yes. Which docs are you referring to?
The FILE_ID.DIZ says:
Synchronet v3.17b Internet BBS Software
for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10.
and install.rtf file:
Synchronet BBS Software for Win32 v3.17b
This version is expected to be compatible with the following MicrosoftO operating systems (both 32-bit/x86 and 64-bit/x64 flavors, though 32-bit is preferred for 16-bit DOS program compatibility):
* Windows XP SP3 or later
* Windows Server 2003 SP3 or later or R2
* Windows Server 2008 SP2 or later or R2
* Windows Vista SP2 or later
* Windows 7
* Windows 8
* Windows 10

Since you're a fellow ham radio operator (I'm WX1DER), I know that you don't want the system rebooting during a ham radio net, or if the BBS is
in use. Basically, is there a way to "disable" the automatic updates,
then do them manually?? Right now, when I do updates with Windows 7, it
can take 90 minutes to download and install everything, then do its
reboot.
