There's a couple different flavors of Food Fight.
I'm most familiar with the version made for WWIV BBSes by Rigor Mortis. I used to include a copy of with Synchronet installs so you can find it running on a lot of Synchronet BBSes (e.g. bbs.synchro.net).

Years ago I tried to find the Rigor Mortis version, but all I could find were the Michael Wilson versions. Not sure how I missed checking your FTP. Too bad the archive doesn't have the original sysop documentation.

Do you need help setting it up?

I did post one question (with a lengthy setup) in IRC. What it boils
down to:
I can make the game work if I manually edit the EXTERNAL.BAT and
CHAIN.TXT files to use mapped drives. (e.g. "D:/CHAIN.TXT" instead of "/sbbs/node1/CHAIN.TXT")
But since Sync creates these files automatically, how can I tell it to
use the mapped drives instead of the linux paths?

I called around to a bunch of WWIV BBSes this morning and managed to find another copy of Rigor Mortis' Food Fight, which *does* have the original sysop instructions file. I'm going to attach the ZIP file to the Downloads section of my FF article stub on Break Into Chat:

This is all I got in your message. Did it <SLAP!> my QWK Reader, then sprint away?? <G>

Those appears to all be DOSEMU-specific issues. You may be the first one to try to run it under DOSEMU (at least with Synchronet)?
But since Sync creates these files automatically, how can I tell it to use the mapped drives instead of the linux paths?
No, there's no such option. :-( A DOSEMU-specific mod/patch could be made, but it'd most easily be done for *all* DOS doors (not just one in particular).
There is a download of a later version available at:

Look for "ffb456.zip", towards the bottom. Enjoy.
