What does one do with this stuff? I tried a slice of it once

didn't think it was anything special. I'm thinking it's
either the nostalgia factor for some folks, or I need to
do something to it before eating it....

    Thanks for any info.

Please don't tell me you tried to eat it raw. Plop a 1/4 inch slice in a
pan and fry it up good. That aside, it's either good with eggs for
breakfast or on a roll with cheese. I prefer it to breakfast sausage or
any of the other meats that normally go with breakfast.
