Burt Reynolds, one of Hollywood's most popular leading men during the '70s and early '80s in such films as "Deliverance," "Smokey and the Bandit, "The Longest
Yard" and "Semi-Tough," has died. His rep confirmed that he died Thursday in Jupiter, Fla. He was 82.

I also enjoyed his 1990's sitcom "Evening Shade." Early in his career, he
was also in one of my favorite episodes of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents,"
    titled "Escape to Sonoita."

I probably saw it, but don't remember it. I especially liked his movies where they showed the outtakes at the end.

    LOL!

I thought I had fixed the "real names" setting on this echo, sorry about
that. I will keep signing my full name until I am sure I have it right.

Ironically, the Alfred Hitchcock episode was on the Me TV network just a few days before he passed. Watched it on the DVR last night.

"Escape to Sonoita" is the episode that features a young Burt Reynolds.
    His voice is completely different.
