For some reason there are old messages in this echo - the sysop recently re-added it for me - so I'm in cluding the entire text below.

Just wanted to say that since this was written I have watched that season of Frequency. Great show! Was NOT a remake, but could tell was inspired from the movie (which I LOVE, BTW).

Saw it too - got the free pilot download on iTunes - watched it with my wife. Half way through it she said, "unless this jumps the shark at the end of THIS episode, I can see us buying this one too..." I'm so proud. LOL

I also just saw the pilot on my DVR. Reminded me some of Dr. Who in
that there are "fixed points in time" that cannot be changed, like the fate of the female reporter. It also reminded me of a couple of other recent shows, including "Frequency" where a character does something
that changes the timeline and causes an unforeseen, and undesirable, outcome.

Of course, I am sure that was also covered in "The (original) Twilight Zone" and a Simpson's halloween special at least once also. :)

    I liked it.

    They cancelled Frequency, didn't they?

I have since seen the second season of Timeless. It was not bad but I did
not like it as much as the first one.
