So what did you all think about Solo - A Star War Story? Did you like it?
I won't get into reviews because some may have actually not seen it.
I went myself to the 3D IMAX showing at the Lowes Theater and found it enjoyable. I thought that it was well written, produced and acted. I was
a little suprised at the end and wonder if there is going to be a follow up
to continue the story or connect it with Star Wars Episode One. I did put the Best Buy 4K Steelbook on order a few days after as I had a $15.00 rewards certificate I did not want to let expire.
I see some interesting previews for things coming up like the next Mission Impossible movie and also a JK Roling story done in the "Harry Potter" world.
A Jurassic Park movie opens in July. I thought they just about run that series into the ground but I guess not.
Sticker shock at the refresments stand, $11.95 for a hot dog. I'm thinking I can survive 2 hours without needing any sustance I don't think I'm going to waste away without it.
One thing I do when I go is to bring my own 3D Glasses which I clean before hand because the recycled ones they give you are always smuged. I have a nice clean IMAX pair I bring to the theater in a sunglass case. I've also got a perscription pair, (Why is one set of glasess called a pair?), that is ground to single far vision only. Great for movies and TV.
Funny after when I went to Dunkin Donuts for my one coffee a day the girl asked me what flavor coffee I wanted. I always thought coffee WAS a flavor. At least it is in an ice cream shop.
Wish I had a snappy Solo tagline. Guess that will have to wait until I get my Blu-ray. It's gone from the IMAX alreday because of poor ratings at the box office. It's still on some smaller screens in both 2 and 3D.
