How long will they want him on oxygen...?
Don't know about the oxygen; it may be a life long thing now.
The congestive heart failure was making him short of breath
before all of this happened. Nobody had picked up on that
issue so it's a lot of new territory we're in now.
And there will be a fair bit of try this, try that, I'm sure...
I trust he'll be receiving on-going physical therapy and maybe
    some pulmonary therapy as well...?

Don't know but he was back in the hospital for a few days. Some of the meds lowered his blood pressure too much; he had a number of falls
because of that. On some different meds now, came home Wednesday
    night.

    Hope that works better... :)

We're trying to keep up but distance makes it a bit more
difficult. Steve's younger sister (a nurse) will be down there next week--she will be able to assess the situation and make suggestions to them/us what should be done.

That's good... I'm sure that Steve's parents will be glad to have her
input, too... :) And she's in a position to be able to assess things
from a professional point of view... :)

    Hi Nancy,

off again. Also have medical appointments, VBS, etc in that
time frame so less time for freezer filling.
That does sound more like freezer emptying than freezer
    filling... ;)

That's the intent, have it as empty as possible before defrosting.

    Good luck on that... ;)

I know, there's always something to go in. Got stuff in the fridge
freezer that should have gone into the big one a while back but...

I know, but this stuff should have gone into it a while ago. Put it into
the little one to chill as I cleaned up, figured to transfer it at some
later point which has yet to occur. (G)

So as long as there's room for the stuff in the small freezer, you might
as well keep it there until you get the defrost etc done for the large
    one... ;)

Pretty much what I figured, unless we need the room in the small freezer
    for something short term.
