I'd hope so ... but have scanty evidence based on how
many movies I see, whether I could see faces in a crowd
scene, and hether I'd remember to notice if I could.
I've not really paid attention to crowd scenes, not seen any movies in a
    good while either.

I guess the point of crowd scenes is that they are
crowd scenes. I on the other hand like to note the
individual elements in whatever mixture I ebcounter,
usually but not exclusively in food.

computer assisted graphics to create the crowds. That's
cheaper than > ML> I hadn't thought of that. How gross and
    impersonal.
But cost saving for the studios.
Similarly with the canned music behind the acts I used
    to play for.
Sigh! Yes, supposed to save money but..................

Yes. But. The experience is not as good, or
at least we like to think so.

I've known people who have had that kind of
exposure. A few seconds of celebrity don't
do most people any harm, I suppose, any more
than one exposure to parathion or something.
It gave her something to do other than drilling one day.
What, is she a dentist? [g]
    Military drilling--marching, weapons practice, etc

Or an oil rig worker. Another joke.

The future in general. What we said about stewardship.
    Exactly.
It's not just a moral thing - we're talking survival
of the species and your genes.
So don't feed me coffee, peanut butter, coconut--save them for the next generation or two. (G)

Warm weather crops mostly, We may end up getting those

    Uranium Mine Coffee."

Some of them work for reasons that are obscure. Honey
of course is fluid but contains very little water,
which probably has something to do with it.
Something, but not sure what all else but it is working.
    Well, good on that.
    That's what we're saying.

    unlikely, okay.
OK, have to hold the thought.
I'd recommending forgetting about it altogether.
    Will do.
We do spend some time here speculating on things
we'd not be caught dead actually doing.
Good thing the moderator is so easy going on that. (G)

Yes, this would have been better than the hum drum pot roast my
    mother > used to make.
Humdrum pot roast can be very good.
It was meh, neither really good nor really bad. Some protein to go with
the mashed potatoes & gravy, some other vegetable (usually corn, peas,
beans or similar) and a basic dessert of some sort.

It often doesn't take much extra effort to get from
meh to yeah. On the other hand, the story is told
about one of those English philosophers who, being
brought up in a strict puritanical household, was
denied many frivolities and pleasures. At one dinner,
it is said, he noted. "father, the soup is very good
tonight," whereupon the grim old man wordlessly tipped
the water pitcher into the tureen.

It is fun to look for individiual elemments but usually movie directors
aren't as concerned with that in crowd scenes.

Especially if the music doesn't quite match up to what the actor is
    doing (poor lip sync, especially).

I'll take a pass on that one.

The problem was that my dad wasn't into trying much of anything beyond
the basics. I could work something new into a meal when he and Mom were visiting us but he'd never ask Mom to cook the "new" thing at home, even
tho he might have enjoyed it.

And served that soup until it was all gone.
