Probably so, with appropriate sides. Banana pudding or peach
    cobbler for dessert?
I'd vote for peach cobbler... :) Not so keen on 'nanners... ;)
But 'nanna puddin' is traditional southern with bbq. (G)
Oh. Well, if UDD is coming, he's allergic to nanners.... ;)

No word out of him yet.

Maybe he has to wait till closer to the date to be able to know if he's available.... :)

    Decisions, decisions.............
The fun of planning a picnic... ;)
Yes, and remembering all the little things like paper goods,
    plastic ware, drink cups, etc.
At least you have months to write up your lists, add to them as
you think of something else, etc.... ;)
Start putting things on paper--figuring out quantities so we
neither run short nor have a super abundance of left over stuff. If
the latter, we'd probably take it in to church for LG or similar.
Yup... and that last would work, too.... :)

It makes the most sense, rather than trying to stow it here.

Especially as that would be the most likely place you'd be using it...

That storm missed us entirely... we might have had a little
    rain...
You got away easy that time. I understand another storm is
coming across the states this week.
That one also mostly dissipated before arriving here... we've
had some rain, but nothing all that bad...
We had rain on Sunday, may have been a small tornado in the area
    but unconfirmed yet.
I heard that some nasty weather came through your way last night
or so...? And that it was then heading up the coast, so that
    should miss us, too....

There were a few tornadoes (EF 0 & 1) and straight line winds in and around the area. We had heavy rain and wind--power lines down in some areas also but we kept power this time. Could have been much worse
    over all.

Sounds like....! We've had wind and rain for the last couple days...
and a cold front came through, with a bit of snow in it... There was a
little snow on the bottom of windshields, and blown against back fences,
but it's gone now... forecast for rain and snow throughout today and
into tomorrow (Sunday), with highs in the 40s, and lows in the 30s...
then back to highs in the 50s for next week....

BTW, NOAA upgraded Hurricane Michael from Category 4 to 5.
The eastern part of the state is still dealing with the aftermath of
last year's (and 2016's Hurricane Matthew) storms.

    Not so good....

Thought so, from looking at the weather reports. We had a bit of rain on

Time to bake bread or do something else to run the oven for a while. (G)

No, but not much can be done about it.
