This is the same crew drinking "hard seltzer water" so....
Questioning the taste buds to an even
    greater degree.
I go straight for the regular seltzer thanks. Cheaper and safer.

The thing is their way, one makes no bones about
    drinking for, er, therapeutic purposes.

If the other appliance is a stove and a frying pan, it could be a problem.
That's fundamental enough to put them
directly into nursing, do not pass assisted
    living, do not collect $200.
Probably, but I've known some truly absent-minded folks who weren't
    senile and yes they would....

Early onset Alz, or just looniness?

pork or eggplant) is similar. Especially if
    cooked in soybean oil.
That sounds more like food than the herring.
I agree, but you'd be surprised by how many
people are really averse to bean curd.
They're weird, but then I'll eat anything not trying to climb off my
    plate.

A good tofu, if not the most inspiring food in the
world, is a quite pleasant and tasty thing.

    Sometimes doctrinal nonidentical closeness
    engenders the worst behaviors.
It depends on the people involved too.

Catholics vs. Anglo-Catholics. Sunnis vs. Shiites.
Various flavors of Buddhists, Hindus, what have you.

today regarding Kosher wines. By the reasoning
justifying the rules about kitniyot, one might
worry about people sneaking shrimp powder or
    other filth into one's veggies.
    Or just spitting into them.

Even the more paranoid of that lot admit that
the chances of some gentile spitting into their food
    are minimal.

I do eat it occasionally, but it's not a preferred taste.
There are those who claim quinoa to be
delicious, though I suspect those people
    have spent time in prison.
Or fried their mouths on some less legal substance. Or prescription
meds. Those will do it too.

Oh, come on, do you know of a drug that messes
one's taste buds as much as (say) zucchini?

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v7.07

    Title: Zuchini Bread
    Categories: Breads
    Servings: 4

    6 ea Eggs
    2 c Oil
    4 c Grated squash
    2 c Sugar
    6 c Flour
    4 ts Cinnamon
    1/2 ts Baking powder
    2 ts Baking soda
    2 ts Salt
    2 ts Vanilla

Combine ingredients in Large bowl, mix well. Pour into greased and
    floured
loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serve hot or cold with butter, cream
cheese, or just plain. Mmmmm. Variations: Applesauce or pumpkin bread -
use same as zuchini, but add 3 cups water and 4 tsp ginger. Another thing
    I
did often, was bake the batter in cupcake/muffin tins. Then when the kids
wanted a snack, they could just take "one" without the worry or mess of
slicing from the loaf.Source ... who cares?

Alcoholic seltzer is only good for getting hammered.

Generally the latter, occasionally the former.

A good tofu, if not the most inspiring food in the

It tastes better than boneless skinless chicken and has a better
    texture.

These days yes, but now it's also a habit.

Some chemo drugs. Anesthesia will do a number on you too. Voice of experience.
