    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Lithuanian Herring in a Blanket
    Categories: Lithuanian, Fish
    Yield: 6 servings

    6 Whole herring
    100 g (6 tb) butter
    2 Eggs
    2 tb Flour
    1 tb Sour cream

    Soak herring, skin, bone and fillet. Beat egg yolks with sour cream,
    add to flour and mix well. Beat egg whites and fold into dough. Dip
    herring fillets in dough and fry in hot butter, on both sides.

    Serve hot with baked potatoes.
