From MICHAEL LOO@1:123/140 to SHAWN HIGHFIELD on Monday, May 14, 2018 07:22:24
I guess what I had meant to say is that my adversity to driving (for
me) a long day's drive is pretty much gone. I could make it up to northern New York -- in Nancy's neck of the woods -- within 12-13

Rochester NY is less than 3 hr from Williamsport.

Tell you what... Once a location is hammered out if I can also do it
in 12 hours I'm in. But Michael has to know you and I will argue about
    something stupid. <G>)

Starting, no doubt, with how to spell the name [g]

[No recipe as I'm connected remotely.]
    I'm just lazy.

There is no requirement that a recipe be
appended to messages. The rules used to say
that IF you mentioned a recipe in your post,
you should offer it here. It was also written
that it was an "unwritten" rule, so you can
see the tongue-in-cheek nature of it. Recipes
are encouraged (in moderation), especially if
they are relevant in whatever wise to the
posts that include them. By way of example I
am appending a recipe for something lazy.

... Moderator Rule #4: Everyone hates you - so hate 'em back!

    But be quiet about it!

Speaking of recipes and tongue in cheek, if you
run into anything by the Kohls, be warned that
their tongue-in-cheek "it never turns out the
same way" is a way of saying that they're just
guessing about the measurements, which is
perfectly fine - precision is only a minor
virtue (more so, though, in baking).

Actually from Shawn Highfield, didn't leave his system, so hopefully it
    will this time... ttyl neb

Rochester NY is less than 3 hr from Williamsport.

I can get to Rochester NY. I just need to get off my rear end and
get an updated passport. I'll do that next week they say it will
only take 2-3 weeks if you don't pay for the rush. <G>

in 12 hours I'm in. But Michael has to know you and I will argue about

He knows he spells Shawn incorrectly. <Laugh>

perfectly fine - precision is only a minor
virtue (more so, though, in baking).

I mostly guess as well... If I am writing one out for my daughter I
will first prepare it and measure /everything/ as she will follow it
to the letter. I once made a mistake and typed a cup of salt instead
of a teaspoon. She added a cup of salt.

    Shawn

... Help! I've fallen and I can't... Hey! Nice carpet!
