That would be a little salty for me, as is
the standard wing sauce (half melted margarine,
    half Frank's).
In our house the standard wing sauce is half melted butter and half
    Crystals.

I would of course substitute butter, but for the
Anchor Bar, that might result in bankruptcy. By
the way, there are now many flavors available
besides the original - I have tasted Anchor's
"suicide wings" (now called "suicidal") and
    a Sriracha-based version. Neither appeals
compared to the original (even if it's made with
    margarine.

    You're grasping at straws again.
But not bil-ing you for it.
Girl, why you wanna make me blue?
Because she knows how much you like blue.
    Title: SIZZLING SICHUAN SCALLOPS

Things that make me blue about this recipe:

    1 lb Large scallops
    - cut into 1-in pieces

I don't like the apparently Asian custom of
taking a nice big scallop and cutting it up
to make it look like more. Defeats the purpose
of big scallops, seems to me.

    1 tb Dry vermouth
    1/2 ts Sugar

I have doubts as to what vermouth adds here,
but the sugar is surely extra.

    1 tb Brown sugar

Unnecessary catering to a degraded western
    palate, I suppose.

    1 Cucumber; peeled

Though cooked cucumber is less objectionable
than raw cucumber, what's the point here?

    1 ts Sesame oil

    Too much by half.

    -----------------------------FOR 1-1/2 LB.
    LOAF-----------------------------
    1 pk Yeast 1 cn Blueberries (16-1/2 oz);well
3 c Bread flour -drained, reserve
    liquid
    1/2 ts Salt 1/4 c Retained juice
    2 tb Sugar 1/4 c Water; approximately
    1 tb Butter or margerine

Add all dry ingredients into pan. Put well drained berries into a 2-cup
measuring cup, add 1/4 cup juice and enough water to equal 1-1/3 cups (we
found it to be 1/4 cup water) Select white bread and push start.

    -----

I bought a number of products by DAK (not the
canned ham manufacturers, the one named after
Drew Alan Kaplan) - most were okay but not more,
a few were duds, and one - the supposedly
professional quality microphones - I found to
be excellent. The breadmaker got distinctly
    mixed reviews.
