What modern medicine doesn't come with such
a list? And they keep discovering new and
interesting side effects for the old standbys.
Sometimes they're even useful side effects instead of things that
make you want to put the bottle down and back away.

Perhaps. What's your position on psychedelics?

Age has something to do with it, but it's the mileage that's the
    killer.
And the condition of the suspension, no doubt.
    Too true.

And the transmission, as I was rudely reminded
    the other day.

fenders. By the way, why do some people
call them fenders and some call them
    bumpers? Optimism versus pessimism perhaps.
British or Canadian influence, no doubt.

Nancy notes that they're different parts of
the automotive defense mechanism, though many
    people use the terms interchangeably.

    least when it goes well.
A conterassertion to your counterassertion: Windows.
It has lots of synonyms, many of which cannot be used in polite
    company.
Hey, I thought you said you didn't frequent
    polite cmpany.
Not knowingly, but it does happen by accident.

Perhaps you don't have enough bumpers and fenders.

A search on "mice pie" yields, in addition
    Easter rice pie
It sounds like a decent rice pudding.
I'd imagine the rice ends up making a
    sort of crustlike layer.
With the riccota in there, it might well stay suspended.

Some of the recipes, even ones that add a
pastry crust, claim that the rice settles to
the bottom to make a chewy layer. The recipe
name would imply that as well.

    Easter rice pie
    categories: Italian, dessert, dairy, holiday
    yield: 1

    8 eggs
    2 lb ricotta
    2 c rice, cooked
    1 c sugar
    1 Tb vanilla
1 ts orange or lemon peel

Combine all ingredients, and pour into a greased
and floured 9-in round cake pan. Bake at 325F for
    75 min.

Run, or hobble, away as fast as possible.

Not to mention the wiring, in my case. I have bats in my belfry and
a literal squirrel in my attic. (just heard him running around up
    there right over my head)

Physically I have plenty thanks. Mentally ... yeah well.

I thought those were the wheat pies - some use wheat berries instead
    of rice.
