I had a phone call from Steve Haffly this afternoon... Ruth's surgery
went well. He asked me to leave a note to the echo... :)

I'm glad to hear it. Here's to a speedy recovery for her. :)

I don't know if I've ever mentioned it but I had the pleasure of meeting
Ruth and Steve a few years ago when I was living in Johnson City. They
were travelling through the area and stopped by my home at the time. It
was nice to actually meet people from the echo. :)

I think you may have mentioned it... and I think also that they've
mentioned it to me as well... It is indeed nice to actually meet people
from the echo... that's the real benefit/pleasure of the picnics.... :)
