    Do you mean that one can't cook with the new
    "Corningware"....?

    Their glassware is stovetop burner safe but their oven bakeware
    products are not. They should only be used in ovens, microwaves (and
    are OK in dishwashers) but not on stovetop burners or under
    broilers. It says so right on the box it comes in.

    Title: Pork and Broccoli Stew
    Categories: Pork, Stews
    Yield: 10 Servings

    2 1/2 lb Boneless pork
    1/2 c Flour seasoned with salt
    -and pepper
    1/3 c Vegetable oil
    1 Red pepper
    1 Green pepper
    1 sm Onion
    2 c Beef or chicken broth
    2 tb Soy sauce
    1 tb Wine vinegar
    1 lb Broccoli flowerets or
    1 pk frozen broccoli

    Cut the pork into chunks and cut the peppers into 1 inch strips.
    Season meat in flour; brown well in oil. Add peppers and onion;
    cook 5 minutes. Add broth, soy sauce and vinegar; bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring twice. Taste, add salt,
    pepper or additional broth. Simmer 30 minutes. Add broccoli. Cook
    and additional 10 minutes.

    I guess I won't be purchasing any new stuff.... I'm too used to using my Corningware for oven, stovetop, microwave, etc.... wherever I need it...
    I do have a couple of pans that I think might be only for the oven, but
    they are ok under the broiler....
