Do you remember these? They used to be
staples on Chinese restaurant menus but
    no longer can be found.
    Title: Sesame Shrimp Toasts
    Categories: Appetizers, Seafood
Not sure that I've seen them with the sesame seeds, but it seems to me

I've seen them both ways but remember the
flavor more of the ones with sesame seeds
and the texture of the ones that are just
plain so with a more uniform tender crunch,
    which you might prefer.

that I've seen them relatively recently at some Chinese restaurant or other... Haven't seen them at any of the buffets, though.... at least
not recently.... May have seen them at some point at the Canton one, though.... I may just have to check around locally and see if they are
    still available at all....

Probably it would have to be a hopping
buffet, where the food flew off the line,
otherwise you'd risk getting a greasy
mess that would seem stale even if it
    weren't.

I'd probably like them both ways.... :)

If it were at the Canton buffet, they probably would have been just
fine... But I'm more thinking I saw them on a menu at some other
Chinese restaurant, not buffet... Maybe Canton House, where we go for
dim sum.... or maybe Lin's Garden which is more a takeout place... Not something I've ordered for a very long time... but now I'm curious... :)

... I think I'll go crazy. Do you want to come along?
