That's the superiority of the human condition.
Others are in fact trying to eat us, but we can
    do something to fight back.
Or at least complain about the process.

Mr. Tiger, please don't eat me up!

one's trying to eat the humans.
My reading abilities becoming more idiosyncratic
by the moment, I read "one's trying to eat ruminants."
I'm chowing on cow for dinner, so it fits.

Good choice. One of the reasons I've tranferred
much of my life to Lilli's is that 80% of the time
it's what for dinner, with 80% of the remainder
being pork. Chicken figures only when Chris and Rob
are over, as Rob has a strange fondness for chicken
and a strange distaste for beef, recently acquired.

sriracha will do it if consumed in large amounts.
The D&D Gold brand Sriracha used to give me
serious runs whenever I used it.
It only works on me in multi-tablespoon doses. I sometimes use is
straight as a cold preventative. Dunno if it works, but it tastes
better than medicines you take when a cold actually hits.

Who uses it in less than multi-tablespoon doses?

especially the half-dry ones. No fat is a
    minus in my book, though.
Yeah well. They aren't the perfect food.
    Beef. It's what's for dinner.
Literally tonight. Prunes are what's for breakfast.

Only if you don't have to go anywhere else.

    Prunes in Armagnac
What does one do with these, besides make very happy prunes?
Eats 'em. Drinks the juice or slops it
    over ice cream.
Sounds good to me. Make happy ice cream?

Never asked the ice cream. It's always been
    cold to me.

    LA Hot Dogs
    categories: California, beef, pork, sandwich
    servings: 4

    6 hot dogs
    6 sl bacon (thin)
    1 Tb olive oil
1/2 white onion, peeled and sliced
    1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
    1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
    s, p
    4 jalapeno peppers
6 soft white hot dog buns

Tightly wrap each hot dog with 1 sl bacon. Set aside.

Turn your grill to medium. Place the peppers on the
grill and cook until charred on each side, 1 min.
    Set aside.

In a medium skillet over medium heat, add the oil.
When the oil is hot, add the onion, bell peppers and
sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook 5 to 7 min until
    softened. Set aside.

Place the bacon-wrapped hot dogs over medium high
on a grill heat until charred and heated through,
6 to 8 min, being sure to cook the bacon on all
sides. Heat hot dog buns on the grill too, if you
like. Insert the hot dogs into the hot dog buns
and top each one with liberal amount of onions
    and pepper mixture.

M's note - this recipe doesn't specify what to
do with the jalapenos, but you can guess.

Mr Alligator, I object to being dinner!

I don't mind chicken, or any formerly breathing protein really with
the exception of beef liver. It's edible, but not pleasurable rather
    like raw onions.

I'm not sure, but my mother isn't fond of hot stuff. I'm not fond of screaming hot food either, but have been known to send a good shot of
it into a bowl of chicken soup. Turns it into edible food.

Unlike dried cranberries there's no added sugar.

And in any case, it's not sitting there looking at you with sad eyes,
unless it's melting and no one's eating it.
