Yeah there was once a Mr. Breyer in Philly in the 1800s. His
business became part of Kraft and it's now a part of Unilever who
cheaped out on ingredients and ruined everything about a decade ago.

Title: Amelia Island Mud Pie
Categories: Pies, Ice cream, Filling, Chocolate, Alcohol
Yield: 6 Servings

CRUST:
1 1/2 c Oreo cookie crumbs
2 tb Butter, melted
FILLING:
1 pt Chocolate ice cream,
-softened
2 tb Kahlua
1 tb Coffee
2 tb Whipped cream
2 tb Brandy
Fudge topping

Combine Oreo crumbs and butter. Press into pie plate and freeze.
Whip ice cream with coffee, brandy and kahlua. Fold in whipped
cream. Pour into pie shell. Freeze. Top with fudge topping and
freeze again. Serve with whipped cream and maraschino cherries.

Sigh.... I remember the jingles on the radio advertising it... and it
was my parents' favorite ice cream.... even after it was cheapened so
much... but I think that their tastebuds had deteriorated in like
amounts, so they were mostly eating nostalgia... :)
