You can shred the 5.25" guys. And hit the smaller ones with a
magnet to erase any data that stray cosmic rays has not corrupted.
Me, I'd just bin them to the land fill - or take them down my
    local authorised computer/electronics recycler.
Problem with putting them into any sort of recycle is that on the off
chance that they landed in the wrong hands I might find myself in
court. I need to destroy them -- just haven't gotten around to doing
    it.
Richard uses a bulk eraser on magnetic media... I suppose one could
both reformat the disk and use the bulk eraser on them... that should
erase anything that's still there... :)
There are ghosts that can be read by sensitive enough
equipment. But I'd have thought that Dale's writings were so
technical that they were sort of self-encrypted to begin with.

I suppose.... in the wrong hands though, some would possibly understand
even his technical writings.... Would the ghosts still be left after
both magnetically erasing and then reformatting....?

Canoleo margarine was reasonably tasty both for spreading and for
    cooking with...
It seems there's "natural flavor." That can mean any number
    of things.
    True.
The line between natural flavor and artificial
flavor can be kind of blurry as well.

    I suppose...

Still available here... in vending machines and also in stores... :) Including Wegmans and BJ's, probably the others as well... ;)
I'm not sure whether to be surprised by this - or
    gratified, for that matter.
They are better than their competition, for my taste... :)
I've not done an exhaustive study, relying on
the testimony of others regarding such things.
At one point, I was designated to purchase such for the office for my massage therapist Deb... she liked to have some snacks and candy
available to restore blood sugar levels post-massage.... She later was
using BelVita biscuits for a similar purpose...
Huh. Why you? I hope you were reimbursed.

Because I was willing... I think she may have been a bit lacking in transportation at the time, as well.... and, yes, she gave me a reduced
rate for that week's massage, usually a bit more rebate than I'd
    actually spent... :)

Hope you find some time to spend on the echo... ;) I try to get at
least one message packet finished a day... more if there aren't a lot of messages in the one, if I'm behind some....
Well, I try, and the heavy traveling actually
encourages me to store up some replies for the
next time reliable Internet is available.
You seem to be doing pretty well... :) I'm finally running up to date again... maybe I'll stay there for a while, as no major trips or doings
seem to be planned for pretty much the rest of the year... :)
Part of it is making a priority. So yesterday I had
time between rehearsal and performance - too bad,
because there wasn't sufficient time between
performance and meeting and meeting and dinner, so
that was two taxi rides. Luckily, dinner let out
when the subway was still running.

    That _was_ lucky... :)

I'm hoping to get this packet out tomorrow when we go over to Edith's
for the next bbs training session... and not sure when my next chance at sending anything will be... Today, we abruptly lost our internet
service, and when I called to find out what gave, discovered that
someone has apparently stolen our phone number, and it has been ported
to some unknown company for some perfect stranger.... and that the
porting is already a done deal... We got absolutely no warning that it
was in process, nothing asking for confirmation that we had in fact
intended to port our number to another company... either by phone, email
or letter.... We are both quietly sizzling about it.... Apparently the
only notice we'll get is when we get the bill from the new company as to
who it is now... but that might not even happen since it might be
(probably is) going to the person that stole our number.... Dunno if
I'll even have my landline as of tomorrow....

    ttyl neb

... When in doubt...No, don't do that either.

If You haven't done this already

Use someone else's telephone to call Your Telephone Company Customer Service Department to report the unauthorized change.

THEY CAN help You get the phone number back.

Years ago I saw a sign in a store about filling out a coupon ----
I think it was something about showing support for some cause by writing
Your Name, Address, Telephone Number, etc.

I read the fine print on the back of the coupon and it said something about
YOU AUTHORIZE (Their Fine Print - My LARGE PRINT)

Changing Your Telephone Service to THEIR TELEPHONE COMPANY.

I didn't put the coupon in their Box, I tore it up and threw it away.

It may had been a nice cause to support but I ain't completely ignorant,
    some parts are missing.
