Red Gold tomato products in Canadia
No, they're not here.
According to Red Gold's web pages they are in Canada
the map shows all of North America covered.
That may well be but when I use their store locator function it's
not available in Edmonton or Ottawa where I might actually shop or
within 100 miles of Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver our three
largest cities.
Perhaps it may be one of their private label (store brand) deals.
Perhaps, but none of the big brand names like Red Gold, Tuttorosso,
Redpack, Sacramento or Vine Ripe show up anywhere here.

Title: Charcutiere Sauce
Categories: French, Beef, Sauces, Pickles
Servings: 1 quart
1 qt demi-glaze
1/2 c onions (chopped)
2 TB butter
1 c white wine
2 ts dry mustard
1/2 ts sugar
1 ts lemon juice
1/4 c cornichons (chopped)
The Charcutiere Sauce is a finished sauce made with onions, mustard,
white wine and chopped cornichons, simmered in a basic demi-glaze.
This sauce is an ideal accompaniment for grilled pork and other meat
dishes.
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and lemon juice, and stir until
the sugar is dissolved.
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt the butter and cook the onions
until soft and translucent, but don't let them turn brown.
Add the wine, heat until the liquid boils, lower the heat a bit and
continue simmering until the liquid has reduced by two-thirds.
Add the demi-glace, then lower heat to a simmer and reduce for about
10 minutes.
Strain through a mesh strainer, add the mustard and the sugar-lemon
mixture. Garnish with chopped cornichons and serve right away.
