what kitchen related items are now essentially extinct?

Spitjacks for roasting meat in a fireplace, sugar nippers to break
up sugar loafs, and more recently, enamelled coffee percolators (we
still have one of those for camping).

    Title: Nick's Blueberry Bbq Sauce
    Categories: Fruit, BBQ, Sauces
    Servings: 4 cups

    2 c fresh blueberries
    1/2 c ketchup
    1/2 c apple cider vinegar
    1/2 c brown sugar
    1/2 c water
    1 TB molasses
    1 ts chili powder
    1 ts black pepper

This blueberry BBQ sauce is amazing. It's sweet! But, not in a
    cloying way.

Just simmer everything together for 10-15 minutes and then blend up
    the sauce.

This is gonna sound kind of crazy but I think this sauce would be
very good on savory pancakes (corn cakes). Heard it here first.

I know they're still available, but 650MB CD's. Why? I've recorded CD's for people, sometimes, and they had problems with them in "old" CD players. They worked fine in my players. Near as I can guess it's because I'm using the newer, higher capacity, CD's.
