Wasn't classifying you with the gamblers... more thinking the casino buffet deal is a slightly classier gimmick.... ;)

I'd still rather not go into the casino except to meet/eat with my cousins.

With good cause, even if you are not against gambling. The floor of
most casinos I have seen allow smoking, and the air is thick with it.
On one of our coach trips, we had a meal served upstairs in a casino.
The tour guide essentially told us to hold our nose and do a quick dash
around the corner from the front door to the escalator. Although we
were at least ten feet or more from the slot machine area, the smell was
fairly strong on even that short jaunt.

    Title: Cardamom Kulfi Pops
    Categories: Indian, Ice cream, Dessertice
    Yield: 8 servings

    1 1/2 qt Whole milk
    1/3 c Sugar
    3/4 ts Ground cardamom
    8 Paper cups
    -OR
    -Cooking parchment
    -OR
    -Waxed paper
    8 Ice cream sticks (opt)

In a 6-8 quart pan over high heat, stir milk, sugar, and cardamom
until simmering. Over medium-high heat, boil until reduced to 2 cups,
25-35 minutes, stirring often; slide pan partially off heat if milk
threaten to boil over. Let cool; to speed cooling, set pan in ice
    water.

Set paper cups in a rimmed pan. Or, to make cones, cut 8 pieces of
parchment or waxed paper into 7-1/2" squares. Fold each piece in half
to make a triangle. With long edge toward you, bring 1 of the 45'
angles to the top of the triangle, then roll toward other angle. To
close hole at bottom, starting from the top, press 1 inside sheet to
tyhe opposite side. Tape the cone in a few places to hold it together.
Support each cone, pointed end down, in a cup slightly taller than the
cone; set cups in a rimmed pan.

Divide milk mixture among cups or cones. Freeze until kulfi is thick
but not hard, 1 to 1-1/2 hours; then, if desired, push an ice cream
stick into each container. Freeze until firm, about 2 hours longer. To
eat, peel off paper. To store, seal kjulfi (still in cups or cones) in
a parge plastic bag; freeze for up to 2 weeks.

When I went through Las Vegas (twice; my dad and I were driving up to Silver Springs to move stuff from their storage room to their home in Johnson City, TN) in 2005, nearly all of the casinos I went through were non-smoking. I unfortunately don't remember the names. The only one that was stinky to a non-smoker like me was one out in the sticks we stopped at.

Good enough reason to avoid those places. Hopefully the smoke didn't
drift up to the area where you were eating; that would have put a fast
end to me remaining in the building.

No, it did not. And once we got up there we were treated to a pretty
good buffet with a sampling of foods, including some native American
items. Smoke did not bother us until it was time to exit. Then we held
    our nose once again.

I'd smoke it rather than cook in the oven.

    Title: Spicy Beef Brisket Sandwiches
    Categories: Sandwich, Beef
    Yield: 1 Servings

    1 tb Coarse Kosher salt
    1 ts Black pepper, coarsely
    Cracked
    2 ts Sweet Hungarian paprika
1/2 ts Cayenne pepper, if desired
    1/2 ts Ground cumin
3 lb Brisket of beef (half a
    Brisket)
    Variety of rolls
    Mustard (preferably a
    Variety) and horseradish,
    As condiment

Preheat oven to 275 to 300 degrees F.

Combine the salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne, and cumin. Rub onto
both sides of the meat. Place meat in covered pan and bake for about
4 hours (meat should be tender enough to come apart easily). Cool
slightly and slice meat thinly to serve. (An electric knife makes
    that easier).

Meat can be cooked a day in advance and refrigerated. In a covered
pan, reheat the brisket in a preheated 300 to 350 degrees F. over for
about 30 to 45 minutes; add a little water to pan so meat does not dry
out. Slice when reheated, to keep the meat moister than if you do it
in advance. The meat will be so tender that very little actual
    slicing is necessary.

Serve meat with a variety of rolls, and several mustards and
    horseradish as condiments.

Makes 10 to 12 servings or more. For 25 people, either triple or
quadruple the recipe, depending on the guests, and plan, similarly,
for 3 to 4 dozen rolls.

Good that the smoke didn't reach the dining area. I've walked out of
    some where it did.

    A few comments:
I'd smoke it rather than cook in the oven.

    Agreed, smoker would work better.

    The carb count obviously does not include any buns you might use, But then why use a bun on meat like this:-}}

Cooking for a large group, make a bit of meat stretch further? TBH, I
    wouldn't use a bun either.

I would slice this using our ceramic knife that our daughter gave us

We have a small one, use it mostly for slicing cheese. Came with a
ceramic Y peeler in an "As Seen ON TV" set we picked up out of
    curiosity.
