    That sounds like the week that was. I was off the air too for quite
    a while. Doc's was down, deader than a doornail.

    I was glad to get home after all that. Highlight of the week after the picnic was being able to visit family, including cousins of mine I
    don't see very often. We met for lunch at a casino in Niagara Falls--their buffet is free to new members of their "social club", reduced price for current members. We "joined" (probably will never use the membership again);

    So did you have to pay anything to "join"...? Free meal is quite nice...
    and you never know when you might have occasion to meet your cousins
    there again... ;)

    the buffet was spread over several stations (Asian, Mediterranian, American, desserts and maybe one other) with a fair spread at each. Enough to well fill us up;

    Sounds quite impressive... ;)

    we walked down to the American side of the falls afterward. For supper that night Steve and I split a one entree, no rice mall Chinese
    chicken thing and got an ice cream each. Light, but after the buffet,
    we didn't need a lot of supper.

    I might not even have needed any supper, just a snack... :)

    Hi Nancy,

    I was glad to get home after all that. Highlight of the week

    It didn't cost anything to join and any time we want to go there again
    for the buffet, it will be at a reduced price. Not sure how much off but
    some beats none. (G) It was fun to go to the Falls again also. Stopped
    in a souvenir shop for a thimble and walking stick shield (for Steve)
    and went up front to pay for them. Heard a rustling beside/below us and
    saw a squirrel had come in, jumped into a box of Reese's peanut butter
    cups. He snagged one package, jumped down and under the counter, couple
    of minutes later ran out into the entryway with a pb cup in his mouth.
    Wonder how often he's pulled that off.

    the buffet was spread over several stations (Asian,
    Mediterranian, RHf> American, desserts and maybe one other) with a
    fair spread at each. RHf> Enough to well fill us up;

    If you went away hungry, it was your own fault. (G)

    Tht's basically what we had. I couldn't go from end of lunch to
    breakfast without having something more to keep the b/g at a good level.

    Catch you later,
