From MICHAEL LOO@1:123/140 to BILL SWISHER on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 00:20:04
Just as a heads-up, Lilli informs me that
you'd do well to stick to the dogs, it
being the best deal on the menu. Of course,
she has strict standards for pizza. Someday
I'll risk her and my stomach's wrath by
    trying a slice.
Connie and I would go to Sams, back when there was one here. Plain cheese pizza for her, Polish dog for me, we split the drink. Now everythings

At Costco, as I recall, the drinks are
included. But I guess for the calorie-conscious
splitting a drink makes sense. I tend to drink
a bit copiously when I indulge at all and will
gulp down a whole 20-oz serving with gusto.
    That goes double for beer.

changed...but I snuck into Costco the other day for a Polish dog. It's
    only
about half a mile from a highschool and they get a tremendous amount of
    foot

At many of the stores the snack bar is
open to the public even if the rest of
the facility isn't. In California at
least the pharmacy is available to all
by law, so to get in all you have to do
is tell the gatekeeper you're going there.
You can't buy anything at the regular
store without showing a valid card, but
you can at least get in to peek at stuff.
    I don't know where else that's true.

traffic in/out of there so I skulked in with the crowd. I took a print
    over
today to have the glass replaced in the mount, gonna move it closer to some

Mmm - what happened to the glass, did the
    thugs break it?

windows so I decided to get UV glass. Spotted a place I haven't been to in forever, they were here in 1980 when I moved here...and have relocated themselves lots of times...Benny's Food Wagon, YUMMM....Mexican! Maybe
    in a
week or so...gotta go get the print...

Quoting Michael Loo to Bill Swisher <=-

At Costco, as I recall, the drinks are
included. But I guess for the calorie-conscious

Just that neither of us drank a lot of soda. As it was we generally threw some
    away.

Mmm - what happened to the glass, did the
    thugs break it?

No, they took the cheap one and left the expensive one, criminals sometimes express poor choices in taste. In my own defense I can say...I'm not a crook.
I just didn't know where on the wall, relative to windows, I'm gonna put it and don't want it to fade. Pretty sure now, again. Got a new/used one late Tuesday, via FedEX from Pennsylvania, and took it in today for a new frame, didn't like the condition of the frame (fake distressed wood and I have enough real, unfortunately really, distressed wood anyhow), the mat is OK so I'm keeping it, and swap out the glass for UV, same reason as the other. Should be
getting both of them back on the 27th-29th of this month. Which means I'll be
wanting to re-hang 6 of the 7 big prints in the condo. It was a given, they're all using only a single hook, earthquake zone...gimmee double hooks please. Got some good white toothpaste to patch with, travelsize, tested it on
some of my other multiple hangings. Perils of not having another set of eyeballs to correct placement.
