I gave away my can of pepper spray years ago.
Aura tells me that Mace in Manhattan has a warning label not to
spray it on animals.
Down there, people are animals (figuratively, too).
Up here, we call it bear spray and the label says don't spray it on
people!
Though it's more effective, they say, on people than
on critters.
Black bear poop contains a lot of berry seeds and
squirrel fur. Grizzly bear poop has little bells in
it and smells like pepper spray. - old joke
Title: Chinese Pea Soup With Floating Pork Dumplings
Looks good enough but unlike any Chinese food I've
ever had.
From: Www.Birdseye.Co.Uk
Oh. Funny that I've seen peas in the dumplings
themselves, rather than the soup.
... I almost killed someone with spicy chili once.

Recipe by: McDougall Plan Place beans and water in a large soup pot.
Bring
to boil; cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and let rest for
about 45 minutes. Return to heat. Add onion, garlic, green pepper,
oregano,
and cumin. Cover and let cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours. Add tomato
paste, vinegar, and tamari. Cook an additional 30 minutes. Add chilis,
rice, Tabasco, and coriander. Cook 10 minutes. Serve hot.
