That sounds like very good news. I guess that makes the picnic and date official. September 7 to 9, Bloomfield NY, which I make as being about 25 miles/35 minutes from Newark.
    Yep, so ordered.
    (deep breath) OK... ;)

What's that deep breath for? If the
prep work is that hard, you can count
on help, if you ask for it.

How many people can she put up?
Good question, and what are recommended hotels nearby?
    (If necessary, question for Nancy).
As I told Dale, I'll get a better answer from her soon... As to hotels
if needed.... There are places in either Victor or Canandaigua... My
brother has stayed at something Garden Suites in Victor... I think he's diamond in the same set of hotels as you frequent and have status...

Homewood? The Garden Inn is cheaper; the Hampton
almost reasonably priced (151++ a night).

... The art of living well: make good use of garlic.

Or cinnamon, which might improve the following
    as well.

    ---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.01

Title: Svingi (Batter Puffs with Honey and Cinnamon)
    Categories: Greek, Desserts
    Yield: 28 servings

    Karen Mintzias 1 c All-purpose flour
1 c Boiling water 1 ts Baking powder
4 tb Butter or margarine 4 Eggs
1/4 ts Salt Olive or other
    vegetable oil
1 tb Granulated sugar Honey; warmed
1/2 ts Grated orange rind Ground cinnamon

In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the boiling water, butter, salt,
    sugar,
and orange rind. Bring to a boil. Meanwhile, sift together the flour
    and
baking powder. Add the dry ingredients all at once to the hot mixture,
beating hard with a wooden spoon over medium heat until the mixture forms
    a
compact mass and leaves the sides of the pan. Remove from the heat and
    let
cool for 1 minute. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating hard after each
addition; the mixture should be smooth, glossy, and thick. Heat the oil
(which should be 2-1/2 to 3 inches deep) almost to the smoking point,
    then
drop the batter by tablespoons into the oil, without crowding, to form
puffs. When the puffs surface, turn them to fry on all sides, using
    tongs,
then lift them out, drain off excess oil on absorbent paper. Place on
    warm
platter and keep warm. If using the syrup, boil the syrup ingedients for
    5
minutes; spoon the syrup, or warm honey, over the puffs, sprinkle with
    cinnamon, and serve hot.

I will be asking for help as needed, most likely... :) Just remembering
that it could be an undertaking... (G) In the meantime, I intend to see
if Fords can at least be involved in helping to pick places to visit,
whether sightseeing or restaurants... with the locus southeast of
Rochester, we may be able to find places between Bloomfield and Newark
that would fit the bill nicely... :)

Yes, I think Homewood Garden Suites... and also Hampton Inn and
Suites... Those are the ones he stays at.... I haven't really much other knowledge about them...

... What, it's Monday again? Didn't we have that *last* week?
