thief! but hey! the cook/chef gets all the best parts anyway :P

Sometimes he even shares with the sous... ;)

markl>> kinda found out that i'm a cook and not an eat ;)
MLoo> You seem to have done okay on the eating front as well.
i'm pretty good at that at times :)

And we are certainly glad that you joined us and we were able to find
out both your eat and cook abilities... ;) To say nothing of putting a
face to the name, and expression to the messages... ;)

MLoo> By the way, people liked your eggs (I didn't accept one because I'm
MLoo> not a breakfast food person).
cool! i'm glad they liked them... they are definitely fresh free-range eggs... my two remaining hens (out of 18+ at one time) certainly seem
to be glad to release them for others to enjoy in one manner or another
    ;)

Nice and tasty... I had one of each... the pointy one I had seemed to be
less fresh than the more rounded one, but they both were very nice... :)
I'm guessing that the eggs were gathered over more than just one day...?

i'm not so sure about that... new victims present and i do get carried away at times... i'm aware of it but cannot always prevent it from happening... it sucks at times so i try to make sure i have something with me to concentrate my
attentions on so as to let others have a turn or three... sometimes even that doesn't work too well :(

yeah, the oldest ones were maybe a week old... week and half at most... i only get two a day with only two hens now... the longer ones are from the oldest hen... she's probably 7 or 8 years old now... the others are from the newer hen
and she's only 2 or 3 years old...

Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set
them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them. ... Hint for Mom: Kids don't really prefer hot dogs to duck a l'orange.

I think I speak for us all to say that we didn't mind it at all.. you
didn't wear out your welcome... :) My point was that when one can
interact with someone in person, one has a better idea what they sound
like, and things like dry wit with a twinkle that can't be seen just in
    the echoes...

That's what I thought... :) They both were quite tasty all the same...

So, is the elongation because of her breed or because of her age... or
just how her eggs come out....? :)

our hens do make some very good eggs... they always have... i think mainly because we do let them free-range all over the land... in the spring and summer
they're always in the woods scratching up the leaves and getting the bugs and small snakes they find...

i had one hen that was a rescue... she was found, soaked, on the side of the road after hurricane fran came through back in the late '90s... we called her "chicky"... she'd follow me all over the place... i guess because she knew i was the one that rescued her and gave her a place to stay... she was a large-breasted all white chicken that we suspect was a refuge from one of the chicken houses around here... anyway, when i'd be out and she right behind me, i was always rolling over logs and stumps for her to find munchies...

she got to the place where she'd go stand by/on one that she wanted me to move and call and call and call until i came over and rolled it for her... whe loved
wading into termites and gobbling them as fast as she could... she'd even get into ant beds once we broken them to the place where the eggs/larva were and she'd eat those as fast a possible... then she'd take off and stomp around getting the ants off her legs and eating them...

the longer ones are from the oldest hen... she's probably 7 or 8
years old now... the others are from the newer hen and she's only 2
    or 3 years old...

So, is the elongation because of her breed or because of her age... or just how her eggs come out....? :)

i'm not sure, really... they didn't used to be elongated... it may be due to her age and maybe she's having trouble passing them now... i forget which breed
these are but they do lay the large or extra large brown eggs...
