They keep telling me that there are multiple (three?) things
contributing. Leg muscles, ear and visual. The last one is clearly demonstrated to me by excercises where they have me shut my eyes,
while doing something that is already taxing on the balance ability.
It only takes about 15 seconds before I start seriously leaning to the point of needing to grab onto the bars that are there for just that possibility.

Good proof of concept... (G) So at least the PT is showing you all
the areas that need working on... ;) Is it helping any yet...?

It has helped. Gail agrees. I still have a few bad days, such as
Wenesday when I had to get up very early because of another doctor
appointment and started the day with only four hours sleep. I was
pretty wobbly by the time I got to PT in the mid afternoon.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

    Title: Stuffed Rolls
Categories: Breads, Cheese, Main dish, Sandwiches, Vegetables
    Yield: 6 servings

    16 oz Cheddar; Sharp, Shredded
8 oz Green Olives; Stuffed, *
    2 Green Bell Peppers; Md
    12 French Rolls; Large
    6 oz Tomato Sauce; *
    1 Onion; Md.

    * These are approximate sizes. Recipe called for 1 small jar of
stuffed olives and 1 can of tomato sauce. It should be to your
    taste.

Cut the tops off of the rolls and hollow them out leaving a thin
shell. Grind all of the ingredients and the removed bread in a meat
grinder or food processor and stuff back into the rolls. Place the
tops back on the rolls and secure with tooth picks. Bake on an
ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees F. for about 45 minutes. Serve
Hot. ... from a file of Carl Berger

That is a good thing... :)

Yes, but I warned them ahead of time -- and of course they knew it
    before I even said anything.

"This recipe is a standby we've fed to many a branding
crew. It's hearty and filling - important requirements
when you're feeding a bunch of cowboys!" - Betty Sitzman

In a Dutch oven, brown beef in oil on both sides. Add
    onion and celery when meat is almost browned. Add broth;
cover and simmer 3-4 hours or until meat is tender. Remove
meat; cool and shred. Drain vegetables, reserving 1 1/2
cups broth. Skim off any fat. Return the meat, vegetables
and broth to Dutch oven; add the remaining ingredients.
Simmer until heated through. This keeps well in a slow
cooker on low heat. Remove bay leaf before serving.

All they had to do was take one look at you... ;) They probably toned
down the exercises just a bit so that you'd get some benefit but not be physically overwhelmed... :)
