If we care about each other as much as we pretend to, it
would be a kindness to report in when our patterns are
going to be substantially deviated from.
Particularly when one does know beforehand... :)

Even if not, a hastily typed note would be
    appreciated.

They seemed (especially Burt) hale and hearty for
    mid- to late 80s.
    Which is reassuring... :)

If only we could do likewise.

Things went well enough to plan... I did finish up the last huge packet while I was away.... and now I'm working on what accumulated whilst I
was away... never-ending... (G) Not sure when I'm going away again, sometime in August, though, probably....
    One hopes it's neverending!
;) Ongoing, anyway... :) Next trip has somewhat solidified to Aug
13-16 or so... back up to the Pond....

Now it looks like November will be good for me,
and for the August timeline, I will be in Alaska.

It'll probably be a little while... although I did note that Wegmans bakery had their seasonal peach loaves on offer again, so they seem to have a sufficient supply of ripe enough ones from somewhere... :)
Actually, cooking imperfectly ripe peaches, either over- or
under-, improves them. The former of course have a better taste,
the latter quite a bit superior texture.
As the loaves have only small bits of peaches and somewhat of a peach
taste, hopefully they're using ripe ones... ;)

If so, the pieces will be kind of mushy.

It's both the origin and the variety of the blueberries
that are relevant. I was astonished by the yumminess of
the first wild blueberries I had, back in the '60s I
think. Since then, there have been ups and downs, but
until this year or maybe last the general quality has
been up from my childhood. These last Driscoll ones have
been very variable, some being big and pretty and tasting
    like nothing at all.
This year's weather may have contributed to the lackluster berries... RJ
just told me that finally the blueberries have ripened up at the Pond...

I wonder whether it was only the schedule that was
affected, or the flavor as well.

Very scary.... I've never seen the like.... Isn't there anyone you can trust that might have some idea how to counteract that sort of
    activity?
Not that I know of. I think it happens to more of us more often
than we know, anyway. It may be done robotically. Anyhow, United
just sent me a notice telling me that my account had been changed...
but I hadn't done it. So far, nobody has stolen anything out of it
for me (that's happened only once that I know of, many years ago.
Changed for the better or the worse...?

Couldn't tell from a brief examination.

Today the trackers have me within about 10 blocks of
where I am - but it thinks I'm at the local brewery,
whereas the closest I can come is the vending machine a
floor downstairs that sells the beer for E3 a bottle.
Bear in mind that I've accepted all the cookies under
    the EU privacy rules.
Accuracy may not be their watchword, after all....

It's possible that the EU rules make things just a little
fuzzy, just as the early GPS were said to always register a
few feet off, more for military installations.

Or as I recall the Hafflys have a sous-vide getup,
which could be used instead of the foil roasting.
True... That could be a proper picnic experiment, as well... :)
We can do it both ways! Expensive, but I'll underwrite
provided I get to eat double roast beef.
That could work.... I doubt that anyone would fight you for a double
portion should you wish it... ;)

We're not half the men we used to be, though.

... A confident manner is important. Computers can sense this!
I think I've seen this with "fear" as the last word.
I think I may have also... might even have that version as well... ;0
And would make tons more sense.
I did just see something similar... might append it here... ;)

I wonder if computers also maltreat those who
    loathe them?
