This is one of Gail's comfort foods. Her mother used to make
similar out of ham, but she does bologna.
    Title: Bologna Spread
1 lb Oscar Mayer Beef Bologna
    1/2 sm Onion
    1/4 c Mayo*
    1 tb Yellow mustard*
    2 tb India Relish*

We don't have India relish here but it appears to basically be sweet
pickle relish (hot dog relish) which I use with minced cabbage
added. Dill pickle relish is nice in that mixture too. I like to add
    finely diced celery as well.

I make this and also similar sandwich spreads from minced or ground
liver, heart, tongue, ham, and roast pork, chicken and beef. With
leftover roast beef, tongue and heart I sometimes add horseradish
    instead of mustard.

    Cheers

    Jim

I did not realize that the recipe said India relish when I posted it.
That was the original, but we have not been able to find India relish in
the stores here for at least several decades. It is still available and
made by several companies (with different ingredients). Amazon will
sell it in 3 jar and 12 jar amounts. Gail definitely liked it better
than either sweet or dill relish when we used to be able to get it.

I wonder if your sources might have Piccalilli (which also seems to come
    with a variety of ingredients).

    Here is what Wiki says:
Indian relish is a spicy relish used as a condiment or side dish. It
consists of variety of vegetables and fruit that can include chopped
bell peppers, sweet onion, garlic, tomatoes, sour apples, mustard,
cloves, white wine vinegar, crushed red pepper flakes, ginger, and
sugar.[1] Recipes for Indian relish started appearing in cookbooks
during the 1700s.[2] Indian relish was imported from India and became
popular in England and Scotland during the 18th century.[2]

Piccalilli is a form of Indian relish popular in England.[3]

My supermarket does not carry either Indian or American style
piccalilli but does have the rather similar chow-chow as well as a
    number of chutneys.
