I'd call it Old Almost Faithful and get a lot of "huh?" looks. (G)
Isn't almost fidelity much more suspect?
It could be, given the proper circumstances.

I'd find the concept troublesome. Of course, I don't
worry much about conventions and schedules.

There are lots of things that don't sound right that
might actually be right. On the other hand, tons of
things get written that just plain aren't right.
Leaving us to ferret out which are right, which are pure baloney.
And often without the necessary tools.
    Those are often useful. (G)

    Well, more often than often.

I'll do a bit on meatloaf & s,p, and onion/garlic powder on the
    fried > potatoes.
Even with a savory coating, French fries often seem
to benefit from a ketchupy bath.
    Not for my taste buds.

Spoken like someone who actually likes potatoes.

Doesn't matter. I can skip a meal or three without
    adverse effect.
I'll notice it in my blood sugar.

I might or might not. Thing is that I don't suffer
severely when I get low blood sugar.

Going into what I'm thankful or not thankful would
put me in the position of having to moderate myself.
Probably not an enjoyable task. (G)
    I wouldn't mind that much.
But is it worth posting, or just the high (or low) lights?
    ?
Posting what you are or are not thankful for.

Oh, going back to the previous subject. I didn't
    catch that.

    Thai-style lemon grass shrimp
    categories: airline, shellfish, main
    servings: 4

    1/2 serrano chile, chopped
    2 shallots, peeled, chopped
2 in ginger root, peeled chopped (3 Tb)
    3 Tb lemongrass paste
    3 garlic cloves, peeled
    3 Tb brown sugar
    1 ts turmeric
    1 Tb fresh cilantro, chopped
    1 kaffir lime leaf, chopped
    1/4 ts ground black pepper
    2 Tb fish sauce
    2 Tb grated lime zest
    1/4 c lime juice
    1 c olive oil
12 to 16 lg raw shrimp, peeled, deveined

Blend all ingredients except shrimp until smooth
to make a marinade. Marinate shrimp and let stand
covered in the fridge for 4 hr.

Drain shrimp and saute over medium heat for 2 to
3 min a side or until done. Remove from the pan
and transfer to a parchment-lined plate. Chill.

Serve 3 or 4 shrimp with 1/2 c papaya salad.

    Different life styles.

    Well, more often than often.

    Too often for your liking?

In some forms. Other forms I can just as well leave them behind.

I don't want mine to go too extreme in either direction.

No big deal, is it something worth posting or not?
