Except back when, She was the good guy.(LOL)
    The good guy?
In the Jewish tradition, one does not write out the the Creator's
name. And since gender rules don't apply....

Ah, that good guy. My friends got around that by
writing G-d the way some Christians do or JHVH,
presumably on the theory that taking away the vowels
    takes away the problem.

Nor, aside from getting some residuals for a while,
was I ever invested in that, particularly.
Possibly just as well, given how classical recordings pay out. Worse
    odds than the lottery.

Pretty much so, but the only significant checks
    came from nonclassical recordings.

the Valjean mentality ... steal no more than is necessary
(in the novel, the guy did grow worse for a while, though).
In the musical he's almost saintly. Somehow I doubted that was
You don't get nuanced characters in musicals.
Some would say you don't get characters in musicals.

    In general.

accurate. Maybe she swiped it all from a food bank instead of a grocery. That would explain the off brands.
I'm not too attuned to the thought patterns of thugs
    so could hardly speculate.
I don't know thieves too well, but I know what gets donated to food
banks. My church has a collection point.

As I said, though, I've gone out with a couple of lawyers.

You seem to think that politicians are overgrown
truants. Thee may be sonething to that.
All those truants have to grow up and do something. Some do drugs,
some do time, and some go into politics.

    Some do all three!

I was going to Giotto some names in anticipation of a
prolonged exchange, but what's the point o' listing all
    the painters in history?
None, unless you want to Brueghel your brain with recalling semi-
    useless information.

Nothing other than a bunch of hog gouache.

Others use Hashem - at least verbally.

No surprise there except that it happened at all.

    My sympathies.

And some of those were right here in Connecticut.
