I still have my copy... Just don't have all the ingredients
for them on hand any more unless I make a special effort to
get them...
I keep the ingredients on hand as a matter of course. If you
don't use the whole wheat flour very often, keep it in the
fridge for freshness. If you really don't use a lot of it,
freeze it.
I tried keeping it in the fridge, and it only took up room I
needed for other stuff... same with keeping it in the freezer...
If I were wanting to use it, I'd get it fresh, in a small
quantity...
I know the space crunch. Right now my flours (ww and ww pastry) are on
top of the freezer as the fridge is just full enough.........
The tube biscuits I liked were a special variety from
Pillsbury, that had no preservatives and only natural
ingredients... forget the name, something like Pure and
Simple or something wholesome sounding... (G)
I wouldn't know. We did find some Annie's (as in Annie's mac
& cheese Annie) tube cinnamon rolls in the Hanniford's in
Oneonta. Did see them down here in one of the stores but I
don't remember which one. We got a tube (very rare for us)
and Steve made them in the camper micro/convection oven.
I've seen those in our store from time to time... haven't tried
them...
They're pretty good for a commercial product.

I know pretty much what's in the fridge and the big freezer. Fridge freezer has odds and ends, plus stuff that needs to be transferred to
the big one. Going to save that project until after the big one is defrosted, hopefully some time in the next few weeks now that the
weather has warmed up.

BTW, Wegman's has a target date of fall, 2019 to be open in Raleigh.
They announced last week that the area where it will be going in, will
be called Midtown East. Said that the shopping area where it is to go
is 86% committed with tenants. It will be right near Trader Joe's and Costco so very convenient for us, much more so than going to Cary.

We had to take the Juki to Cary because that's where the repair shop
is for them. Same with the Pfaff in Raleigh. Some machines can be
repaired anywhere but the more specialised it is, the more apt to go to
an authorised repair place it goes.
Don't know how close the Juki place is to where the Wegman's is

Were you dealing with more straight mechanical appliances then? With
the advent of so much electronics, I think repair technicians have
gotten more specialised in what they deal with. Pfaff computerised programming is undoubtedly different from Brother, for example, so I
want somebody who knows Pfaff to work on my Pfaff, and likewise, with other brands, especially if the machine/appliance is still under
warranty.

Especially big ticket items. Microwaves used to be in that category
but have come down a lot in price, even as they've gotten more
powerful.
Fridges seem to be getting more and more expensive as they
grow in size and features. There are some now that have a small door within the main door so you can grab something small without opening
the main fridge. Others have electronic message centers & other bells & whistles. I want one to stow food, make ice, maybe water in the door. Haven't decided on the last yet as it takes away space for other stuff.

Yes, but can't remember now where/what as so much has happened since.

A lot of miles for only 4 days. Some of our milage was run around town when we were visiting but very little compared to the road miles.
Pan fried burgers for supper one night in the truck parking area of a

we ate just as fast as if we'd stopped at a take out place.

The sauce had a good bit of meat in it already, this just used up the extra maybe 1/3 pound we had left after making two hefty burgers.
Just made it a meatier sauce then.... :) A good use for the

We take the garbage from the kitchen to the garage container often,
but do not always take the garage one out to the curb if it only has
one bag of not smelly stuff.
For the Fourth we had a small neighborhood parade at 10 am, mostly
police cars, fire trucks, politicians and scout packs. Some years
there are a bit more kooky groups formed to march, such as a Black and Decker drill team.
Then we had family and extended family and some other guests over for
a hamburger cook out. Gail made her potato salad, pecan pie and key
lime pie.
Had a bit extra ground beef so just browned it up and tossed
it into the pasta sauce that went for another meal.
We had extra ground beef and Gail turned it into meat balls. Some
eaten the next day or so as spagetti and meat balls, and the rest
frozen for
future use.

Recycle would be our first choice in that case... :)
Ours also. We've often said that it's too bad that we can't
use the bigger issued trash can for recycles, smaller one for
other trash. But, that would confuse the collectors so......
Here, they've issued recycle cans (a different color than the
trash one) that are the same size as the trash ones...

We take it out weekly just to keep on a consistant routine. Easy to remember that the trash gets rounded up on a certain night, then taken
out to the curb. Of course if the inside cans are full before the week
is up, they go out then. We also recycle plastic bags from (wherever)

There's also a bear proof can sold. Steve suggested to the one

store... RH>> They may have, but I didn't really notice. Last time we weresummer... ;) Dunno if going year-round would make that much

Stopped in Oneonta on the way back from VT earlier this month but
"camped" in the W-M parking lot so we could get on the road quicker in
the morning.
So didn't check out the campground...
