    Like how WinXP still has a marketshare today?

    That is wild. It was a an OS that a lot of people really liked. It ran most older programs too.

    I had a great link to an online system that looked like a winXP system with games on the desktop you could play via web-browser.

    As of late, some companies have started investing in floppy emulators. THat's right: you have a fake floppy you instert in the
    floppy reader, and then you attatch an USB drive or something to the fake floppy. That way you get to use your old machinery
    without having to buy more floppies.

    I have a USB floppy drive where I store my gopher pages.

    I tried that USB drive on my HP T510 MSDos machine/build to restore a backup from msbackup. msbackup does not like the timing of the USB floppy drive. It thinks there is a physical problem with the drive when attempting restores. And I can't use subst to trick msdos to open the files off the hard drive.
