That's a well known problem. It's the USB connector and driver that doesn't work properly. Try your TRS-80 and see if it works better.

maybe a RS232C serial to usb converter will disclose the permissions of the innocent wife ? LOL :)

And many people give their phone more attention then their wife or men.
I donot have a wife, nor a smartphone. I can enjoy myself everywhere.
In summer I am sailing, and in winter I am computing with or without friends. So who of us is most lucky and happy?
