Those who try to enter in any way other than the proper, lawful procedures we have in place are committing crimes right to begin with. Being a criminal is not a good recommendation for residence in this country.


BTW.....this caravan that is now at our border out here forcefully entered through Mexico's southern border. They over-ran that border and illegally forcefully marched-bussed-trucked-or-however through the country of Mexico.


The entire caravan group has already committed crimes and are undesirable aliens at this point. Not a single one is legally eligible to enter this country.

I've had jobs that required TB testing, but maybe a liberal atty would argue

Not only do Marines have no obligation to follow illegal orders,

speakers in the caravan having no right to seek asylum clearly
have no idea how the law actually works or what it says, but we're
now in a world where the idiots are steering the ship; cheered on
by their sycophants. With no intellectual or legal basis. It's
little Fox News dittoheads, Alex Jones, and Ben Shapiro's all the
way down, with a supporting buttress of Tomi Lehren's (who, near
as I can tell, only possesses the single qualifications of being
blonde and white).

How many of them are "christians" who pray for something bad to
happen to their political opponents, while funneling money to
mega-church "pastors" in bad suits, then complaining about how
they're poor? "Something-something, Satan using scripture,
something...you're doing it wrong."

It would almost be comically funny if they weren't all traitors
and fake "patriots". Half of them are admitted bigots who believe
in conspiracy theories and the myth of the "war of Northern
aggression." Part of me would like to know why they hide on
Fidonet and spew daily hatred for the United States of America
with such impunity, but I suspect I just answered my own question:

Yet today he's singing a different tune altogether.


Of course, it doesn't help that the republicans in Congress have no backbone, and wouldn't get things done while they had the power to ignore democrat obstructionism. I have a feeling a few, if not many, republicans are going to pay a price for their reluctance to honor what the people elected them to do.

True enough. But look at what has happened -

President Trump said Mexico will pay for the wall. So that means
American taxpayers are off the hook. No need for the Congress to
fund anything for such a needless monstrosity. So why the government
shutdown? Because Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh told Donald Trump
to do it? What kind of nonsense it that? The POTUS taking orders
from right-wing radio wingnuts?

With Republicans in charge of both houses of Congress, the Supreme
Court, and the Presidency, it would seem to be a done deal for the
president to wave his magic wand and make it happen. But lo and
behold, this country has the weakest president it its entire
history, and cannot even convince his closest friends to do things
his way.

Maybe some would consider that to be a good thing. But I look
at it as being sad. Truly sad. We need a president who is a
strong leader. One who can lead by powers of persuasion, rather

South Park does a great job. Family Guy finally did a anti-Trump episode too without getting too personal or political.

I don't mind South Park because they poke fun at everyone. I do have some problems with comedy that only pokes fun at one side of an arguement or,
worse, does that and makes anyone who pokes fun at the other side seem
stupid and ill-informed.

For me, the fake news started about 9 years ago when I started watching Telemundo. They were first talking about realistic stuff, like about a murder case, or something, and then up next was a story about a woman who can read regular non-braile books by using her hands as eyes. (With her eyes closed.) Then I started to doubt every story on Telemundo as a result.

well for themselves these days. With the President himself being
their biggest fan.

On the other side of the coin is Chuck Todd, Rachel Maddow,
and Don Lemon. They are also on the President's mind ...
