What we have is more of Corporatism than Fascism. Although some of our presidents rule to a certain extent like tyrrants,

Obama
Trump

abusing the scope of their
power. They still depend on the general favorability that they give to big enterprises instead of the otherway around. The Presidents, the

congressmen,

all depend on donations from certain economic interests, either be

Republican

or Democrat.

The problem is that elections in this country are fixed and have been for
over a century. The two major parties control who can run for national
office, control the voting process and the results.

Also, Unions are just as bad as corporations when it comes into

curtaling freedom for certain people.

Can't argue with that
