    I totally agree with you. When I have to reply to some message on phone, I usually reach for my small foldable bluetooth keyboard on which I can type using all fingers and fits into my pocket.

    Have you tried using voice input? I love it. But, like you, I'll still take the good 'ole keyboard.

    Microsoft's Surface tablet basiclaly did that, though that was an Intel device, whereas the ones I'm thinking of typically use ARM processors.

    As long as it runs the software you need, who cares what's under the hood. Personally, I prefer an x86 CPU as it runs lots more software than ARM. I have a first-gen Surface w/keyboard and dock and it's still kicking, which isn't surprising as it serves as my backup PC, so I don't use it much, but I love it.
