Well F9 was finally released Jun. 25. It has made approximately $550 million so far. What are your thoughts on this movie, good or bad? I'd like to hear about them.

I don't think the first is comparable to the ones that came after it.

I think the first two were testing the waters and it was after them that the franchise got its "tone" and started rolling with it.

The films get increasingly over the top the further you wo within the series too.

Furious 6 was my all time favourite out of them all. It was extremely violent.

4 was a mediocre movie. It's like they were going through a transition stage then. Since Paul Walker had died, 7 and 8 had gotten really over the top for me. 9 will probably be much the same. To tell you the truth, I think the franchise has dried up for ideas in my own opinion.
